May the 4th be with you…always

It’s officially May the 4th, meaning you’ve had three days to take advantage of the many promotions and deals we’re seeing from the LEGO Group, Amazon, and beyond. While many folks have been patiently biding their time to spring raids, some are just coming out of hyperspace and getting in on the action. Below, we’ve curated all the LEGO Group’s special releases, promos, GWPs, and more, followed by the very best savings we’ve spotted coming from Amazon.

The revelries from LEGO centers around the most coveted new release among the nine sets hitting the shelves this month, 75409 Jango Fett’s Firespray-Class Starship, which renders the ship in Jango Fett’s iconic colors as a UCS set for the very first time. What’s more, this set also comes with the exclusive Jango Fett Starship Keychain GWP through May 5 or as long as supplies last.

Here’s all nine of the latest LEGO Star Wars sets that are officially on the shelves and ready to be added to your collection:

We’re also seeing two other GWPs this year that will be available through May 5, 2025. The first is the 30708 Millennium Falcon Mini-Build that comes along with any purchase of $40 or more, giving you a cute miniature rendition of everyone’s favorite Kessel Run ship. The second, 40765 Kamino Training Facility that comes with purchases of $160 or more, and can expand your displays with a P.O.V. of what clone troopers go through after officially being “born.”

A notable headliner among Amazon’s LEGO Star Wars savings this year is the 75389 The Dark Falcon at $154.99 shipped, a favorite among rumor-mongers and builders alike back over summer 2024, when it was first spotted as a leak in June before later being revealed for an August 1 release with a $180 price tag. It kept to its MSRP for most of the time it’s been on the market, with discounts first bringing down the costs at the top of March. You can score it today at one of the lowest prices we have tracked, sitting within $4 of the best price we’ve seen.

LEGO’s Dark Falcon set flips the script on everyone’s favorite Kessel Running ship with some truly wild imagination. Stacking up to 1,579 pieces, the iconic starship is transformed into a Sith-aligned doppelganger that sports a Death Star composite beam super laser dish on a smaller and less destructive scale. You’re also getting a fun lineup of minifigures with this set, including Beach Luke, Jedi Vader, Bounty Hunter C-3PO, Darth Dev, Darth Jar Jar, and Darth Rey.

Other LEGO Star Wars ship discounts:

Amazon’s LEGO Star Wars Day deals on mid-scale ships

Amazon is currently taking up to 20% off all four of LEGO’s mid-scale ship sets, with the most popular of them being the 25th Anniversary Millennium Falcon for $67.95 shipped. It launched last spring and remained at its $85 full price until the tail-end of January, when discounts began trickling in and taking costs down further and further. Now, it’s sitting at the lowest price we have tracked on Amazon, making it a perfect time to score one for your display or for some themed décor around your home.

Action-packed scenes and dioramas

There’s a few scene-inspired builds getting discounts this year, like the newer Ahsoka Tano’s Duel on Peridea for $43.99 shipped. Normally going for $55 at full price, it released alongside The Dark Falcon and several other sets back in August, with this being the lowest price we’ve seen on Amazon. With this set fully built, you can relive the action from the Season 1 finale of the Ahsoka live-action series as the titular jedi battles against Grand Admiral Thrawn’s army. It comes with an amazing lineup of minifigures to fill the interactive space, including the admirable Ahsoka, as well as Ezra Bridger, Morgan Elsbeth, a Night Trooper, and Grand Admiral Thrawn.

LEGO figures and busts to decorate your home

Alongside many of the action-packed scenes that we see in the LEGO Star Wars theme, there’s also a nice balance of buildable figures and busts that make great décor for your favorite spaces. One such set is the 25th Anniversary R2-D2 set that is down at $81.99 shipped. Normally priced at $100, the $18 markdown we’re seeing on this set brings it just $2 shy of the lowest price we have tracked. Not only are you getting a 9-inch-tall posable and interactive rendering of the most recognizable astromech droid in the universe, but you’re also getting a secondary R2-D2 and Darth Malak minifigure.

Amazon is also offering the striking Darth Vader Helmet for $65.99 shipped, which is one of the most highly and frequently rated sets on Amazon. While we’ve seen it go $10 lower in the past, discounts have mainly been keeping things between its full price and $64 on average in the last year, with this rate being among the lowest recent price cuts we’ve seen.

Fun sets to bulk up your armies

While many of these sets may be older builds, they’re still packed with a lot of fun inclusions that are perfect for folks trying to bulk up their armies, whether to create epic battle displays or to simply show off as part of your ever-growing collection. The most recent of them is the Ambush on Mandalore Battle Pack set that is down at $16.99 shipped. Another of the sets that are letting you relive favorite moments from Disney+ live-action scenes, this one comes straight from Season 3 of The Mandalorian. It features a cave alongside a stud-shooting cannon and a storage box containing a thermal detonator element – and of course the four minifigures of Nite Owl, a Mandalorian Warrior, and two Imperial Commandos.
